Do spirituality come with appearances?
I first wrote out as an answer to the above question like: "No, it fucking don't". Then good and strong people sniggered a bit and said to me that the words gone true, now what do you ("I") want.. Well, lets start again.
To the question: "Do spirituality come with apperances" the answer is - that only you decide what you are and how you want to be. The only advice is to be your self, and don't try to be something your not. But if you feel like acting like a fool, first make sure your humor is not out of place.
If there are people around you in meditation or in prayer. Honor their practice by being quiet.
It's a thing of the ego. If you feel the need to be in the spotlight, this is the ego speaking and not good. If you want to look good so others like you more, this is also done out of the ego.
If you want to be seen so others will hear you speak about important issues, this might be good for all of us - if you're not a nut or evil. If you want to look good because it makes you feel good and happy about your self, this is also good.
Being or finding out who you are is very hard when you think the real you is something you wear or perform. But there is no easy way of saying it. Practice being you, and you might find out who you are.
The poet John Keats once wrote "Beauty is truth, truth beauty, that is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know." What does this mean to you?
